Job Description:

AutomateNexus helps small and medium businesses streamline operations through intelligent automation—and Salesforce is at the heart of many client tech stacks. We’re looking for a Salesforce Administrator who can configure, customize, and optimize Salesforce environments to help our clients get maximum value from their CRM investment.

As a Salesforce Administrator, you’ll work with clients to understand their sales and customer success workflows, then build Salesforce solutions that eliminate manual work and surface actionable insights. You’ll handle everything from user setup and permissions to complex workflow automations, custom objects, and reporting dashboards. You’ll also integrate Salesforce with other tools in our clients’ ecosystems—connecting their CRM to marketing platforms, accounting software, and AI-powered automations.

This role is perfect for someone who loves making Salesforce sing. You understand that a well-configured CRM transforms how businesses operate, and you take pride in building systems that sales teams actually want to use.

Responsibilities:

Configuration & Customization

  • Configure Salesforce orgs including custom objects, fields, page layouts, and record types
  • Build automation using Flow, Process Builder, and workflow rules
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics for client stakeholders
  • Manage user setup, profiles, permission sets, and security settings

Integration & Automation

  • Integrate Salesforce with third-party applications (marketing automation, ERP, accounting, communication tools)
  • Connect Salesforce to automation platforms (Make, Zapier, n8n) for cross-system workflows
  • Implement data import/export processes and maintain data quality standards
  • Build solutions that leverage AI tools for lead scoring, data enrichment, and intelligent routing

Client Delivery

  • Lead discovery sessions to understand client sales processes and CRM requirements
  • Translate business needs into Salesforce solutions and present recommendations
  • Manage multiple client projects, delivering on time and within scope
  • Create documentation, training materials, and provide post-launch support

Maintenance & Optimization

  • Monitor org health, storage limits, and system performance
  • Stay current on Salesforce releases and recommend relevant new features
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve client Salesforce environments
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing administrative support

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM 201) required
  • Strong proficiency with Flow, reports, dashboards, and declarative automation tools
  • Experience with data management, imports, and data quality best practices
  • Familiarity with common Salesforce integrations and AppExchange applications
  • Understanding of sales and customer success processes
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with clients
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Bonus Points:

  • Additional Salesforce certifications (Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder)
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Service Cloud, or Marketing Cloud
  • Familiarity with automation platforms (Make, Zapier, n8n)
  • Background working with SMB clients
  • Light Apex or SOQL experience
