Google Cloud Platform offers powerful capabilities for SMBs—from scalable infrastructure to cutting-edge AI services. We’re looking for a GCP Consultant to help our clients harness Google Cloud to modernize their operations, power analytics, and integrate with intelligent automation.
As a GCP Consultant, you’ll design and implement cloud solutions tailored to client needs. You’ll work across the GCP ecosystem—from Compute Engine and Cloud Functions to BigQuery and Vertex AI—building infrastructure that supports business growth. You’ll also integrate GCP services with our automation platforms, creating seamless workflows between cloud infrastructure and business applications.
This role is perfect for a GCP expert who enjoys solving real business problems with cloud technology. You’re comfortable consulting with clients, architecting solutions, and getting hands-on with implementation.
Responsibilities:
Architecture & Design
- Assess client requirements and architect GCP solutions that meet business objectives
- Design cloud infrastructure including compute, storage, networking, and data services
- Architect for security, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Create technical documentation, diagrams, and implementation plans
Implementation & Integration
- Deploy and configure GCP services across the platform
- Implement data solutions using BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Dataflow, and related services
- Configure GCP AI/ML services (Vertex AI, Document AI, Vision API) for client applications
- Integrate GCP with automation platforms and client SaaS applications
Security & Operations
- Implement GCP security best practices including IAM, VPC, and data protection
- Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting using Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging
- Set up CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Deployment Manager)
- Ensure compliance with relevant security and regulatory requirements
Client Success
- Work directly with clients to understand needs and present solutions
- Manage projects from discovery through implementation and handoff
- Optimize GCP environments for cost and performance
- Provide documentation, training, and ongoing support
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4+ years experience with Google Cloud Platform in consulting or engineering roles
- GCP certifications (Professional Cloud Architect, Data Engineer, or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of GCP compute, storage, networking, and data services
- Experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, and GCP data ecosystem
- Familiarity with GCP AI/ML services and capabilities
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform preferred)
- Excellent client communication and consulting skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently
Bonus Points:
- Experience with Google Workspace integrations
- Background in data engineering or analytics on GCP
- Familiarity with automation platforms (Make, n8n, Zapier)
- Experience serving SMB clients
- Contributions to GCP community or open-source projects
